At Conyngham Street Community Children’s Centre, we provide lunch each day plus morning and afternoon tea, prepared by our experienced and qualified cook Peter.
We provide 50% of the recommended Daily Intake of nutrients for the children, and ensure a healthy balance of white and red meats, vegetarian and fish are offered on a weekly basis. Our menus have a 4 week rotation and are carefully planned to cater for individual dietary needs, allergies and cultural needs. Each menu offers a variety of cuisines and food groups, within the 4 week rotation.
All are staff are trained in Safe Food Handling to ensure that all food is prepared, stored and served in the most hygienic way possible.
